Forza Horizon 6 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R Unlock Guide

If you are currently tearing up the streets of Japan in Forza Horizon 6, there is one classic ride you absolutely need to add to your garage: the legendary 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R. Affectionately known as the "Hakosuka," this vintage masterpiece is hidden away as a mid-game Barn Find in the Nangan Region. However, you can't just drive out and grab it from the start. If you roll up to the location too early, you’ll just find an empty barn. Here is exactly how to trigger the rumor, find the spot, and get this JDM icon into your collection.Step 1: Trigger the Rumor (Reach Blue Stamp Level 3)The barn will not show up on your map until you have put in some time exploring the map and building up your reputation. Specifically, you need to unlock the Discover Japan Blue Stamp (Level 3: Traveller). If you want to check how close you are, head over to your Campaign Menu, open up the Collector's Journal, and select Discover Japan. If you need to level up that stamp tier quickly, focus on knocking out these activities:
[*]Story Missions & Street Races: Look for the yellow markers scattered across your map.
[*]Touge Battles & Drift Club Japan Events: Great for practicing your lines while earning solid progression points.
[*]Side Gigs: Don't ignore the food delivery jobs or the regional mascots waiting to be smashed—they give your progress a nice little boost.
Once you hit Level 3, the rumor will officially trigger, and you are ready to hunt.Step 2: Drive to the Nangan Region Barn LocationWith the rumor active, set your GPS to the southwest corner of the map in the Nangan Region. You are looking for an area near the northeast corner of the large lake. Here is the exact route to find it:
[*]Locate the main road that runs right along the western border of the Nangan region.
[*]Follow it until you see where it intersects with a winding, twisty mountain road.
[*]Look directly behind the houses sitting on the main road—you will spot a hidden dirt path branching off to the west.
[*]Follow this dirt track all the way down to the bottom of the hill. Make sure to ignore the path that splits off to the right.
[*]Keep driving to the very end of the track, and you will find the barn tucked away perfectly inside a cluster of trees.
Drive up to the doors to trigger the cutscene, and the Hakosuka is yours.Step 3: Wait for the Restoration (Or Skip the Timer)Because the car has been sitting in a barn for decades, it is going to need some serious TLC before you can actually get behind the wheel. After the cutscene plays, the Skyline is sent straight to your garage for restoration. You have two choices here:
[*]The Patient Route (Recommended): Just keep playing the game. It takes roughly two to six hours of real-time gameplay for the mechanics to passively finish the restoration. It costs absolutely nothing, and you can knock out more races in the meantime.
[*]The Impatient Route: If you absolutely cannot wait to build your dream vintage setup, you can head to the Barn Finds menu and pay a hefty Credit fee to skip the timer instantly. Honestly, unless you are swimming in extra cash, it is much better to save your hard-earned Credits for upgrades and just wait it out.
Once the restoration wraps up, you will get a notification to go pick up your shiny, newly restored 1971 Skyline. Take it out to the mountains, throw an exhaust on it, and enjoy one of the finest classic cruisers the game has to offer!
